Who we are
Vyapar Legal is a service operated by Simply Vyapar Apps Private Limited (CIN [TO BE CONFIRMED - CIN]), registered at [TO BE CONFIRMED - REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS]. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Simply Vyapar Apps Private Limited.
For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described below.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and deliver the service you ask for:
- Your name, mobile number and email address.
- Your business name, entity type, city and turnover band, where you give them.
- The services you tell us you need and any notes you add.
- For professionals applying to partner with us: qualification, membership number, years of experience, practice areas, languages and capacity.
- Documents you send us in the course of an engagement.
Why we use it
- To contact you about the enquiry you submitted.
- To match you with a professional qualified for the work.
- To carry out the filing, registration or advisory work you engage us for.
- To verify the registration of professionals who apply to join our network.
- To meet our own legal and record-keeping obligations.
Consent
We process your personal data on the consent you give when you submit a form, and we record the time at which you gave it. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to legal@vyaparapp.in. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out, and it may mean we can no longer provide the service.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and, where an engagement follows, for as long as records of that engagement must be retained under applicable law. When neither applies, we erase the data.
How we protect it
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access restricted to the people who need it for the engagement. No system is perfectly secure, so we also limit how much we collect in the first place.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:
- Give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it.
- Correct or complete data that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Erase data we no longer need.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights if you are unable to.
Write to legal@vyaparapp.in and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Grievances
Our Grievance Officer is [TO BE CONFIRMED], reachable at [TO BE CONFIRMED]. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
